My greatest joy in life is my family. I am the proud parent of five children, ranging from
middle school-aged to adult. As a parent and step-parent, I can relate both professionally and
personally to many of your parenting, step-parenting, and ex-spouse/significant other issues.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a B.A. in Psychology and then
decided to escape the cold and move to Las Vegas to pursue my Master's Degree. After earning my
M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas I went on to
complete a post-graduate internship in both marriage and family therapy and drug and alcohol
counseling at a large non-profit agency.
I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 18 years and I have been in
the counseling field for over 23 years. I also greatly enjoyed the seven years that I spent
mentoring future therapists as both an instructor and a supervisor at a large private university.
